Panel Lifting Tool
Lift and stack finished wall panels, safely.
The Manual Panel Lifting Tool (MPLT) is a gripping tool for lifting and stacking horizontally placed wall elements. It clamps the panel at the top and bottom plate, with a central clamping action that keeps the centre of mass in place for a stable, balanced lift. For any builder working in wood, it is a simple way to move finished panels without manual strain or improvised slings. The tool is used with your own overhead crane; no crane is included.
A gripping tool that clamps a horizontal wall element at the top and bottom plate, with central clamping to keep the lift balanced.
- Balanced, stable lifting. Central clamping means the centre of mass does not shift as you lift, keeping the panel level.
- Secure grip on the frame. Clamps directly onto the top and bottom plate of the wall element.
- Handles full-size panels. Wall elements up to 12.3 m long and up to 1000 kg.
- Simple to operate. Position, lower, clamp, lift, move, and release when the element rests on a flat surface.
How it works
Position the tool above the wall element over its centre of mass, lower it until it rests on the element, then raise it to engage the clamping. Move the element to where you want it and lower it onto a flat surface to release the clamp.
