Board Vacuum Lift
Lift and place boards without the strain.
The Board Vacuum Lift (BVL) is an ergonomic vacuum lifter for handling sheet boards (sheathing, OSB, particleboard, gypsum and similar) and placing them onto wall and floor frames. For any builder working in wood, it takes the heavy, awkward, two-person job of moving full-size boards and turns it into a controlled one-operator task, reducing strain and speeding up sheathing. It works as a standalone handling station or as an add-on to a Randek wall or floor line, and comes with its own column jib crane so it can be used even in factories without an overhead crane.
An ergonomic vacuum lifter with its own column jib crane: one operator handles full-size sheathing boards that would otherwise need two.
- One operator, full-size boards. A vacuum suction device lifts and positions boards that would otherwise need two people, cutting handling time and physical strain.
- Works without an overhead crane. The included column jib crane mounts to the floor and reaches a wide area, so you get powered board handling wherever you place it.
- Large reach, flexible layout. A 270° slew angle and an 8 m crane arm cover a big working area around the station, useful when planning or optimising the factory floor.
- Secure grip across the board. A quad-split suction device spreads the hold across the sheet for stable, even lifting.
- Quieter and cleaner. A frequency-controlled vacuum fan with a soundproofing hood and dust filter keeps noise and airborne dust down.
- Radio-controlled. A built-in radio controller (SRC) lets the operator work from the best position.
How it works
The vacuum fan draws air through the suction device to grip the board across its quad-split cups. The operator, using the radio control, lifts the board on the column jib crane and swings it into position over the frame, then releases it. A filter protects the fan from particles drawn in through the suction foot.
