AutoWall · one side closed

AutoWall Open Panels

Suitable for manufacturers who prefer one open side in their wall panels during the production process. The production line attaches screws, nails, clamps and membrane to one side of the wall element, and mills and cuts the openings.

What the line does

This is where the AutoWall started.

Keeping one side open through production leaves the element accessible: services, insulation and inspection can happen after the line, on site or at a later station. It is the most common configuration in the AutoWall range, and on a single sheet layer it is the fastest line on the market.

  • Boards applied and fastened to every stud behind them, from CAD data
  • Milling and cut openings for windows and doors in the same pass
  • Membrane applied on the closed face
  • Tasks divided among multiple bridges, or taken over by ZeroLabor robot cells
Example layouts

From one bridge to a full robotic cell

Open panels are the most configurable branch: the same open-face element, sheathed by a single bridge, by several, or by ZeroLabor robots. All three run from the same CAD data.

Randek Bridge RB3

One configurable bridge for a smaller facility, or when you need to reach the element between operations for manual work.

  • One bridge configured for clamping, nailing, screwing or nail pushers
  • Access the element between operations for manual steps
  • Suits a smaller facility or a lower volume
AutoWall S3 single-layer line

Multi-bridge S3 line

The original AutoWall layout: tasks divided among multiple bridges. On a single sheet layer, the fastest line on the market.

  • Tasks split across several bridges for continuous flow
  • Sheet saw feeds precut boards in the correct size and order
  • The market’s fastest line on a single sheet layer

ZeroLabor robotic sheathing

Two ZeroLabor R2 cells handle sawing, gluing, sheet handling and fastening — for double sheathing, or split single-layer for speed.

  • Robotic sawing, gluing, handling and fastening from CAD
  • Two R2 cells for double sheathing or split single-layer
  • Waste sorted into dedicated bins and reused where possible

These are example layouts, not a fixed catalogue. Every AutoWall line is puzzled together around your products, output, factory and building system — we plan the exact configuration with you in a pre-study.

What this line includes

An AutoWall Open Panels line adds sheathing and membrane

Framing, sheathing, membrane, a work area and stacking. Every AutoWall shares the same station platform — timber and light gauge steel each have their own framing station — so the full breakdown lives on the AutoWall line.

  • Framing
  • Sub-assembly
  • Sheathing
  • Manual work
  • Stacking & storage

The other three

One base platform, four line types

The four configurations share the same platform, the same data chain and the same areas. What differs is how much of the wall you close in the factory, and how much of that work you automate.

AutoWall Frame

Automates the framing process and nothing beyond it. For frame builders, and for anyone who sheathes and finishes by other means.

AutoWall Closed Panels

Both faces closed, insulation and membrane in the factory. More value added indoors, less work left for the site.

Both sides closed · See the system →

AutoWall Mixed Panels

One start flow producing several different end products. For modular manufacturers and for a genuinely diverse product range.
