Roof trusses
Monopitch truss
A monopitch (mono) truss has a single sloping top chord, forming a roof that falls in one direction only.
Also known as mono truss, monopitch truss, mono pitch truss, lean-to truss, single pitch truss
Monopitch trusses are right-angled triangles in outline. They are used for sheds, garages, cabins and lean-to extensions against an existing wall, and in pairs to create split-level or offset roofs.
The high end carries a vertical member, which bears on a wall or on a girder, and the web pattern is adapted to the span.
