CDT file
A CDT file is the data format Randek systems use to describe a building element precisely enough for machines to produce it.
Also known as .cdt, CDT format
Getting a design from CAD to a machine means turning a drawing into exact, machine-ready instructions: every stud, board, opening and fixing, positioned to the millimetre. The CDT file is the format that carries that information through a Randek system.
Its value is maturity: the format has been refined over decades of real production, so the awkward cases of exporting accurate data from CAD have already been solved and proven on the factory floor.
