oikos xs
oikos xs is the new CNC machining centre characterized by high speed of execution and configurability. It was designed for the production of structural elements in glulam and solid wood with cross-section max. 450x240 mm, ideal for the realization of prefabricated walls, trusses, roofs and blockhouses.
Advantages
SPEED OF EXECUTION
The structure was specifically designed to achieve workpiece feed rates of up to 187 m/min. The combined movements of the machining units allow extreme reduction of unproductive time due to axis repositioning. All tools are always ready to use, thanks to the strategic collocation of the same units.
COVERAGE OF THE SIX FACES
The revolver unit has 4 interpolating axes +1 positioning axis and can perform machining operations on all workpiece faces. The revolver can also differentiate the rotation speed for each tool, ensuring perfect utilisation and longer life for a perfect finish quality.
MACHINING PRECISION
During processing, the workpiece is kept firmly by the presence of pressure rollers, achieving a high degree of precision. A dynamic workpiece support system allows for minimal overhang during several machining operations.
PROGRAMMING FREEDOM
Maestro beam&wall is the proprietary SCM software compatible with the most popular CADs design systems in the timber building industry. It allows programming both in the office and directly on the machine. Thanks to the new HMI software Maestro active beam&wall, control and optimization of the production flow are even simpler and more intuitive.
