AREA x

area x is the 5-axis CNC machining centre with mobile gantry structure, for the production of CLT walls and floors as well as of curved glulam beams. It is characterised by the wide configurability of the worktable, available in five different bases (from 16,000 to 36,000 mm) and in a simpler version for stand-alone machines or a more complete version for machines to be integrated in high productivity lines.
A high-tech solution that is ideal also for small to medium-sized companies in the sector.

CONFIGURABILITY

the standalone worktable is only avilable with the wood bars. But there are a wide variety of options for machines integrated in automatic production lines. The workpiece handling speed is up to 40 m/min therefore the workflow is fast and smooth, thanks to the automatic workpiece reference-clamping systems.

TOP PERFORMANCE

thanks to the 30 kW operating unit that guarantees top-quality machining even in heavy duty conditions, supported by a dedicated exhaust system for dust-free operations.

CONSTANT CLEANING

of the work area thanks to the integrated exhaust system in the cabin and cleaning systems for the automatic removal of shavings located under and to the sides of the worktable.

MAESTRO BEAM&WALL

is the SCM software that makes simple and intuitive the programming and use of the machine. Interpreting projects with BTL format, standard in the sector, it allows to create the program in a few steps. It also has a function for 2D nesting to be carried out automatically. Thanks to the 3D simulator the programs can be tested before execution on the machine, in order to eliminate collision risks and calculate real time/costs.
