Twice as much done with the Double Cut saw
The Double Cut saw is an exciting new member of Randek’s team. This highly efficient saw was specially manufactured for large-scale timber processing within house and roof truss manufacturing. Wood-processing sawmills also benefit from using the Double Cut saw.
Just as the name suggests, it is equipped with two blades which work either in parallel with the same component or with two different components simultaneously. The Double Cut does the job in half the time!
With 21 servo axes, the Double Cut is an unusually flexible saw that can be programmed to carry out both simple and complicated processing using the same saw. Its milling cutter is a very handy tool for more advanced operations. And the fact that it can also be fitted with peripheral equipment, such as pickers and stackers, makes it more adaptable.
Another advantage with the CNC controlled Double Cut is that it has a crossway timber input which saves floor space. The machine also utilises the material well, as it minimizes waste with a built-in optimization function. It is easily connected to an existing network, which in turn generates more ways of utilizing the Double Cut’s high capacity.
