Randek develops, manufactures and markets high-performance machines and systems for prefabricated house manufacturing. The product range consist of: cut saws, wall floor and roof lines, roof truss system, butterfly tables and special machines. The automation level stretches from fully automated to manual.

The company history goes back to the 1940s and began working in close cooperation with the first prefabricating house producers. Today leading house producers in 36 countries are using Randek machines and system.

 

History

The Randek history goes back to the 1940s, the company Randek actually originates from 6 strong companies all specialists within the automation business.

Nordiska Truss, the company was started nearly 25 years ago and is now the strong mother company of Randek. A financial strong mother company guarantees an efficient longterm business approach and product development. The scope of business was first sales of nail plates and cross cut saws and butterfly tables. Nordiska Truss has acquired the companies listed below.

Randek started during the 1960s and has made deliveries from single high performance saws to complete house factories with world highest productivity output. As this was the strongest company the decision to chose this brand was obvious. Was acquired by Nordiska Truss in 2000.

Randek BauTech a merge of Randek and BauTech in 2001 made it possible to deliver complete house factories in large scale world wide and to pioneer the market with automation of roof truss production. The brand is now changed to only Randek.

BauTech continued the succesful path of Burmek. Within this company the SPL160 was even more developed and many big factories in Canada and the UK were delivered, both in timber frame and steel frame. Was acquired by Nordiska Truss in 2001.

Burmek was the first company to start and it was started during the 1940s. Burmek pioneered the market by offering the first SPL160 a highly automated cross cut saw. Later the name was changed to BauTech Sweden.

SML an innovative company with focus on the norwegian market. Developed a number of brilliant machines. Was acquired by Nordiska Truss in 2008.
